Our Home and Community Support program is second to none. This program is designed to help our clients live life at home and in the community as conveniently and efficiently as possible. Our dependable staff always ensures that our clients will receive the right care and support they need for daily living.
TYNIQUES ROSE GARDEN is contracted with each of the care organizations in Iowa that are responsible for providing Medicaid benefits for the 560,000+ recipients registered in the state. As long as our clients are registered and eligible for Medicaid benefits, they will receive the complimentary care packages associated with the program. Habilitation and Behavior Support Plans are developed and customized for each client by our social workers for each client.
There are seven (7) waivers under the Home and Community-Based Services Waiver in Iowa. These waivers include:
- Health and Disability (HD) Waiver
- AIDS/HIV (AH) Waiver
- Elderly (E) Waiver
- Intellectual Disability (ID) Waiver
- Brain Injury (BI) Waiver
- Physical Disability (PD) Waiver
- Children’s Mental Health (CMH) Waiver
With the help of the Home and Community Support program, our clients can choose where they want to receive care and support, either in an institution or in their respective homes and communities. Regardless of their choice, they receive the same services and level of care.
We offer a vast list of services and curriculum. A few of the services provided are:
- Compensatory Strategy Development
- Learning how to budget and organize expenses
- Learn about cooking and meal planning
- Knowing how to set appointments
- Helping them how to recognize their personal advocacies
- Engaging in recreational and social skills training
- Training on how to use community-based functional skills
- Health care
- Planning their tasks and activities for the day
